Achievements and Awards

At Aurora we recognise the extraordinary efforts of individuals within our teams, through a range of special awards and presentations.The Aurora Award This award recognises an outstanding contribution to the College throughout the year by an individual pupil. The Aurora Award is split into two categories, Junior (for Tinies, Sub-Juniors & Juniors) and Senior (Inters, Seniors & Masters), to ensure that pupils of all ages are eligible for recognition in this way.

The Madeline Buccianti Memorial Award

This award honours the memory of Madeline Buccianti, an Aurora pupil between 2000 & 2004, who sadly lost a brave battle with cancer in 2005. Each year this award is presented to a pupil in the Junior section of the College who has demonstrated qualities of enthusiasm, dedication, loyalty and effort, in memory of Madeline.

Coaches Awards

This award is presented in each age group and recognises College pupils who have exhibited reliability and dependability in their team contribution throughout the year.

This award is presented in each age group and recognises College pupils who have shown outstanding improvement throughout the year in both their individual calisthenics skills, and the strength of their team performances.

Service Awards

Service awards are given to those who have been at Aurora for an extended period of time. They begin at 5 years.
Pupils receive a badge to wear on their club jackets which denote the years that they have been at the club.
